High Level Government Officials Protect Goldman At All Cost

“The bank has raised the possibility that there is a danger that somebody who knew how to use this program could use it to manipulate markets in unfair ways,” Facciponti said, according to a recording of the hearing made public yesterday. “The copy in Germany is still out there, and we at this time do not know who else has access to it.”

What is interesting here is Goldman's attorney has stated that the code enables "to manipulate markets in unfair ways". Why won't our Justice department indict Goldman for unfair market manipulation? - or is it only unfair if/when some other firm does it? I think Goldman is too powerful to go after, could it be our high level government officials will protect Goldman at all cost?
